Albert H. Sutherland

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Sutherland, our beloved father and husband, who passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, in Yonkers, NY.

Born on August 29, 1930, in Kingston, Jamaica, Albert was a hardworking and devoted man. He immigrated to the United States in the 1960s and served as a senior mechanic at Peter Pan Bus Company for many years before retiring. His primary focus was always his family; he worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones and took immense pride in his children's accomplishments. Albert was known for his generous spirit and was always quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Albert was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Olive Sutherland. He is survived by his sons, Noel and Devon, and his wife, Tammy; his daughter, Rosemarie, and her husband, Westley; his grandsons, Isaac and Wayman; his granddaughter, Taylor; and his great-grandson, Eli.

One of his favorite sayings was, "You are living the high life." He is now living the "high life" he always envisioned for others. While he will be deeply missed, his memory and the impact of his hard work will never be forgotten.
