Yesterday

I was so sorry to hear of AJ's passing. I will always remember his contagious smile. One of my fondest memories of AJ was during my senior year, playing football at Georgia Tech. Before the Notre Dame game, AJ sent me a telegram, straight to the Tech locker room, wishing me a successful game. Then after every home game of that '74 season, AJ would meet me outside the Tech locker room with that great smile of his, wanting to talk about the game we just played, as we walked back to the SAE house.
You always think you have plenty of time to see old friends again. Then reality hits hard when it does not happen.
Rest in peace, my Brother, and may God bless you in heaven.
Phi Alpha,
Jimmy Murray

AJ was one my first roommates in the SAE house at GA Tech. He was a seasoned veteran and taught me a few things about living a life of "no worries". I loved his spirit and ability to always be smiling. He made you feel special and I know got that from his Dad. He and Brad are true southern gentleman.
Rest in peace my brother in Christ.

So very sorry to hear this. I was a childhood neighbor of the Swann´s in Northwoods subdivision and enjoyed playing basketball with AJ and Brad. Seems he lived a wonderful life. Condolences to all in his family!
