Albert Verwer Obituary
Hawthorne - Albert Verwer, age 78 of Hawthorne died Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Born in Paterson, Albert was raised in Hawthorne and was a longtime resident of Wyckoff. He was a self-employed painting contractor. Albert's passion for antique automobiles was evident by his ownership of a 1960 Corvette he would bring to local cars shows. Surviving is his sister, Alyson and her husband Robert Mitchell, his niece Whitney Perrotta and nephew Robert Mitchell. Albert was predeceased by his brother Alan in January, 2021. Private graveside services will be held at the Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa. In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions in Albert's name may be made to the Wyckoff Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 214, Wyckoff, NJ 07481.
