Albert Jefferson Walker

Albert Jefferson Walker, 93, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 9, 2025. Born in Fort Adams, Mississippi, to the late Samuel Walker and Elizabeth Dunbar, he was raised in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, before moving to New Orleans. He worked as a laborer for National Foods for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Oma Faye Walker, his parents and his brothers, Clint "CJ" Walker and Roosevelt Blanche. Albert leaves behind his son, Albert Brown; his daughter Lonnie (Leon) Harmon; a bonus daughter Sonja Osborne, North Richland Hills, Texas; five grandchildren: Terrell (Dionne) Brown, Chantell Reed, Artrella, Charnell, and Jaquille Osborne; 11 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, April 19, 2025, for 10:00 a.m. at Beulah Land B.C., 2436 St. Maurice Ave, New Orleans, LA 70072.
