Albert Yoder, age 79, of Uniontown went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2026. He was born in Canton on November 16, 1946, to the late Ernest and Mattie (Schrock) Yoder and spent the majority of his working life farming. He loved being outdoors tending to his gardens and fields and was famous for his sweet corn. He loved being with his family, simply being in their presence brought him great joy. Albert was a man of deep faith and attended Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church for well over 40 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Samantha Anders.
Albert is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Dora Yoder; children Nora (James) Gingerich, Karen (Harvey) Vance, Allan (Tracy) Yoder, David (Amy) Yoder, and Joyce (Gregg) Anders; 25 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Maurice (Beulah) Reynolds
Calling hours will be Saturday,April 25th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church and funeral services will be at the church on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with calling hours beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
