Alberta Dukes Obituary

Published by Bates Family Funeral Home - De Kalb on Aug. 1, 2018.

Alberta was born on November 28, 1936 and passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Alberta was a resident of Texarkana, Texas at the time of passing. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM Friday in the East Funeral Home, Moore's Lane Chapel with Rev. Rusty Posey officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM,Thursday, August 2, 2018 at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane in Texarkana. Memorials may be made to the Northside Church Missions Fund, 5801 Summerhill Rd, Texarkana, Tx 75503 or to Highland Park Baptist Church Arise Build Fund, 2401 Hazel St, Texarkana, Tx 75501.

We are so sorry about Aunt Bert. She was such a wonderful and special lady. I wish I could be there for ya'll but rest assured that our prayers are. We pray that the Comforter is present, and guards you hearts as you go through this sorrowful time. I know that she is celebrating with Uncle Chat and Rodney right now! What a reunion! God bless, and know that we love ya'll.
