I miss you today extra. I miss you every day and it's so hard to believe I've lived most of my life without you, even though I still believe you are so important. I wish in knew you as an adult. To be able to have those kinds of conversations with you. I am so sad you aren't here with me. But I'm more sad for my children, knowing they don't know you and have never felt your love. It hasn't gotten any easier even though it's been over 20 years. I talk about you all the time. I love you Grammy. Please continue to watch over us. I hope to see you in a dream. Please take care of Hakeem and Anna for us. Forever missing you...

My Grandmother was the absolute best! She took in 2 of her grandchildren Me Julie aka Wendy, and my sister Marsha and my daughter and son and raised us! I will be forever grateful to her. We would always sit and have after dinner coffee together, Mornings too, but the after dinner coffee was her special routine, and also sitting and watching All my children soap opera! We could not disrupt her show! She would always watch the news before going to bed every night. She was so special in my eyes and my children too, especially my daughter Beth who lived with her until her passing. "Grammy" always brought the family together to visit. She was what held the family together. I miss you so much Grammy! I love you! I hope you are up there looking down on us and are Happy.

I miss you so much mama!! Please come and visit me in spirit and in my dreams. I think of you every day and wish I had been able to spend more time with you, and not have been so tired and stressed out when I was with you. There's so much I would like to have talked to you about. I love you so very much mama!!!
