Alberta Horyna Obituary
Alberta Mae (Spangenberg) Horyna ,92, passed away at Kenwood Plaza in St. John, KS on November 14, 2025. Born in rural Stafford County KS on March 5, 1933, she was the daughter of Albert W. and Anna M. (Ukens) Spangenberg. Alberta spent most of her life in the Hudson KS area where she worked as a nurses aide in home health.
Survivors include Dennis (Carla) Horyna of Anamosa, IA, Gene (Jenise) Horyna of Hutchinson KS, W. Matthew (Lisa) Horyna of Olathe, KS; 6 beloved grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Alberta was proceeded in death by her parents, and grandson John A. Horyna.
Cremation will take place and inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Community Church, Hudson KS, in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 34, St John KS 67576.
