Alberta J. Nousianen

Alberta J. Nousianen, 88, of Bruce Crossing, MI, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, IL. She was born in Paynesville, MI on June 1, 1937, to Albert and Lillian (Pelkola) Bishop. She married Lloyd Nousianen on August 2,1955, and they celebrated nearly 39 years of marriage together until his death on July 9, 1994. She is survived by her children, Kevin (Shar) Nousianen of Machesney Park, IL and Denise (Mike) Jones of Thompson Station, TN; 4 siblings, Jerry (Sharon) Johns, Joe Johns, Marvin Johns, and Dan Johns; 5 grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Cara, Jennifer, and Kyle; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen and siblings Joy, Judy, Violet, Robert, George, Willard and Edward. Alberta devoted her life to caring for her friends and family, and especially cherished being a grandma and great grandma. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Paynesville. Cremation rites have been accorded. Gary Deiters Funeral Home & Cremation Services in East Peoria is assisting the family. A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Paynesville Cemetery in Bruce Crossing, Michigan.
