Alberta Rasmussen, 76, of Manchester, died Wednesday, October 22, 2025, surrounded by her family at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in Staten Island she moved to Manchester in 1981. She worked at Manchester High School as their head custodian for 25 years before retiring in 2011. Alberta enjoyed vacationing with her family to places like Myrtle Beach and Florida. Her favorite past-time was going to Atlantic City and watching Grey's Anatomy. Most of all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Martin R. Rasmussen in 2020. Surviving are her children and their spouses, Martin R. Jr. & Taryn Rasmussen, Tracy & Keith Fallon, grandchildren, Danielle & Stephen, Taylor, Nikki, Keith Jr., Vaughn, and great grandchildren, Carson and Raegan. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday 4-7pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Rd, Manchester, NJ. Inurnment will be Tuesday 11:00AM at Brigadier General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Cancer Society, 2310 Rt 34, Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736.
