In Loving Memory of Alberto Avila
Born in Mexico on November 16, 1938, and passed away peacefully in El Paso, Texas on November 11, 2025, at age of 86.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents and is survived by his devoted children: Oscar Avila, Héctor Avila, Sonia Maldonado, Elizabeth Avila, and Edith Avila, along with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him endless pride and joy. And he shared a lifelong friendship with his ex-wife Magdalena, a bond built on mutual respect, kindness, and the beautiful family they created together. No matter where life took them, their connection remained one of genuine care and enduring affection.
Alberto had a true passion for life. He loved rancheras music and had a special fondness for classic cars - he could spend hours restoring them, shining every detail until they came to life again. He was well known in the car club community, where his smile and cheerful spirit made everyone feel like family. Though he didn't get to finish his last car, his love for his craft and the joy it brought him will always be remembered.
When he wasn't working on cars, Alberto found peace in his garden, surrounded by the beauty he nurtured with his own hands. He had a gift for making others laugh, always joking, always bringing light into every room he entered. To his family, he was more than a father and grandfather, he was their heart, their laughter, and their strength.
Alberto will be remembered for his humor, his kindness, and the love he gave so freely. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Alberto, please visit our floral store.
