Aldo Gargiulo

ALDO GARGIULO, age 100, of Aurora passed away on December 26, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee DeMarco); loving father of Maryellen (Philip) Kennedy, Mark Gargiulo (Jason Miller), Chris Gargiulo (Brian Smith) and the late Anthony Gargiulo; cherished brother of the late Marie Lubecky; dearest grandfather of Amanda Gargiulo, Stacia Fields, Ryan Kennedy, Elizabeth Baker, Matthew Gargiulo, and Joshua Gargiulo. Aldo was born and raised in Collinwood, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII on Okinawa Island in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Aldo married Frances and together they raised 4 children. Aldo was a baker by trade and owned DeMarco Bakery in Collinwood for many years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener. He loved to socialize with his many friends. Cremation. Friends and family are welcome to St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Rd, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Saturday, January 17 from 4 P.M. – 6 P.M. with a closing service at 6 P.M. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Judson Foundation, 2181 Ambleside Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106 in memory of Aldo.
