Aldo Victor Gerbi of Trenton passed away on Wednesday December 31st, 2025 at the age of 90. 

Beloved husband of 63 years to Rose Marie Gerbi. Cherished father of Victor (Kathy) Gerbi, David (Karen) Gerbi, Paul (Trisha) Gerbi, and Andrea (Rachel Faber) Gerbi. Loving grandfather “Nonno” of Ashley (Matthew) Bowman, Alexander (Rylee Trombley), Marissa, Ted (Megan) Robertson, Matt (Anne) Robertson, Sabrina (David) Clark-Rose, Nicholas, Jack, Nadia and Gianna. Loving great grandfather “Grande Nonno” of Ella, Annabelle, Clifton, Lucielle, Viviana & David. Dear brother of Olga (Jack) Boyanowski and son of Guido and Rose Gerbi.

Aldo was a proud veteran of the United States Army. After his service, he went on to work many years for Michigan Bell, Ford Motor Company, McLouth Steel, Genthe Chevrolet and at Comerica Park. Aldo was an optimistic, grateful and accepting man who truly loved people. Aldo had many friends who he enjoyed spending time playing cards with or attending Detroit Tigers games. He loved traveling to Italy, reuniting with his family and experiencing the beauty of Tuscany.

The most important part of Aldo’s life was his family who he cherished above all. He will be greatly missed by many. 

Memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183. Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:30 until the memorial mass begins at 11:00 am at St. Roch Catholic Church.
