Aleah Penland Gallamore

WEAVERVILLE – Aleah Penland Gallamore, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2023.

Mrs. Gallamore was born on June 10, 1973, in Buncombe County where she was a resident and had lived most of her life.  She is the daughter of the late Teresa Smith Pendergraph and Wayne Lee Penland.

Mrs. Gallamore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  She had many pets throughout her life and especially loved her dogs, Oreo and Boobear. She had a big heart and always thought of others before herself.  She loved the beach and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived her husband, Johnathan Gallamore; and children, David Waddell and Katelyn Penland (Cain); siblings, Christine Penland Laws (Phillip), Wayne Penland, Jeremy Penland, Michael Penland, Kristy Penland and Andrew Penland; and grandchildren Lilah Ford, Ledger Ford and Runa Waddell.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in the Chapel of West Family Funeral services with Reverend Phillip Laws officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
