Dear Kent and Erin,
It is with a heavy heart that we send this message to you. Sadly, we have learned about the passing of your beloved son Alec. There are simply no words that can adequately express what it is to suffer the loss of a beloved child. We are bereaved parents who have suffered this devastating loss also, and want to reach out to you in behalf of our group: The Compassionate Friends of Wake County, a non-profit and non-denominational support group that consists solely of parents who have lost children of all ages. We are part of the worldwide organization The Compassionate Friends which can be accessed at www.compassionatefriends.org. Our website is on the latter which you can get to by clicking on Chapter Locator and then going to NC. Our group meets twice a month in Raleigh. If you have any questions, please call our message line 919-833-4022. There is always a bereaved parent on call who will get back to you in one to three days. We are so sorry for your loss and please know that you and your precious child are in our thoughts and prayers.

Rest peacefully sweet boy! we love you, always have and will..I heard over the rainbow and home by phillip phillips today, one right after another and thought of you and your family!! you were/are so loved and will be forever missed! The few beautiful glimpses of the sunset, heavens and skies remind me of you!!

Erin, Kent and Ben...I love you all and am thankful for the times you shared Alec with our family. He was a sweet, handsome, polite soul and will be missed incredibly. I am thankful he is a part of our memories. I love you all, God speed and may you fine peace and comfort. We will miss him, gone but never forgotten!

Erin, Kent and Ben...words cannot describe the heaviness in my heart. Know that Alec was a part of our memories, my kids memories and always will be, and I thank you for sharing him with us! He was always so polite, so handsome..and will be a forever part of our memories. Gone but never forgotten. God speed, praying for peace and comfort during this unimaginable time of grief. I love you all.

Erin, Kent and Ben...please know you are in my thoughts each and every day. There are no words to express the sorrow I feel. I love you all and thank you for sharing your beautiful Alec and the memories with my kids and myself. He was always so polite when he was over, so sweet and handsome! My heart is heavy and my prayers go out to you Erin, Kent, Benjamin Pack, and to the rest of the family as well. My condolences. Words can not describe the sadness, but I have faith in God, and he will comfort your hearts and guide through this difficult time and mix of emotions. I have to say that Alec, to me, was the kindest kid in the neighborhood, had great manners, good heart, was polite and so handsome. I will sure miss him rolling down the street with his skateboard. May you find light and peace young man.
