Alejandro Cartagena Hernandez, age 53, passed away on January 18, 2026. He was born on February 10, 1972, and will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, and a joyful soul who brought laughter wherever he went.

Alejandro is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa; his children Darwin, Claudia, and Josseline; and his cherished grandchildren Hazel, Dayli, Roselyn, and Hailey, who were the light of his life. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Wendy; sons-in-law Ivan and Gustavo; his sister-in-law Delmi and niece Dayana and nephew Kevin; and his brothers Alfredo, Manuel, and Orlando, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Alejandro had a deep passion for animals and a heart full of joy. He loved to dance, make people laugh, and was known as the family jokester. His playful spirit shined through in everything he did - from sharing jokes to creating TikToks that brought smiles to those who watched them. He lived life with humor, warmth, and an infectious happiness that made everyone around him feel lighter.

Above all, Alejandro was a family man. He loved his family fiercely and unconditionally, and his legacy will live on through the love, laughter, and memories he leaves behind.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A graveside service will immediately follow at Ephrata Cemetery.
