Before retiring, Aleksandr was a Railroad Engineer in Latvia. A lover of nature, Aleksandr enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking walks in the woods. He loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren, as well as cooking, pickling, coin collecting and helping his friends.
Beloved husband of Vera Kopilenko. Devoted father of Alla Katashev and her husband Mikhail. Loving grandfather of Victoria and Aleksandra. Dear brother of Yuri Kopilenko and his wife Anna.
Visiting Saturday, December 13, 2025, 8-9 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. Funeral Service, Saturday 9 AM at the funeral home. Interment, East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton
