Aleta Elaine Staton

Aleta was a bright and welcoming presence when I came to New Haven to work in the arts. She will be greatly missed.

Aleta and I called ourselves cousins because we shared some of the same family members. She was one of the most beautiful and kindhearted person I had the privilege to have known. We haven´t touch bases with each other for years but her powerful impact will always remain with me.
To her family I express my condolences and pray her legacy sustain you as you grieve the sorrow of days ahead. Be Blessed
