Alex was born on July 28, 1931 and passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2016. Alex was a resident of Vaughn, New Mexico at the time of his passing. He attended and graduated from Vaughn High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from December 22 1950 until his honorable discharge on November 27 1953. His citations and decorations include the Korean Service Medal United Nations Service Medal Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Medal. He was married to Marcella. A rosary and funeral Mass will be held at 10am Tuesday June 21 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Vaughn with Father Christopher Bernabe officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
