Alex Kveragas

He was one of my Dads closest friends. I had visited him a couple of times when I was in the area. I always loved talking to him.

Hope your at peace now Uncle Alex playin' poker w/your ol' croneys & my Dad. Always said, Let's go! That meant a casino trip. When I was young, Bobby, Carol & I would be dragged along to the horse races, Living across the road, I was at the Forest Lake Inn too often(many times you would tell me to go home because I was a pain in your ...) I loved visiting you & listened to your advice, stories of the past gone by... your singin'... I will miss my weekly visits... the mold was broke when you were put on this blessed earth. All the Kveragas's were characters in their own way. My heart has a hole in it now. You had a wonderful life w/ great daughters & sons. Your loving daughters granted you your dying wish to be home.... I will plant a tree in your memory as I remember planting quite a few for a nickel apiece on your tree farm with my cousins as a kid. Fly High...
