Alex Lambros

Alex was born on January 7, 1925 and passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Alex was a resident of Ashtabula, Ohio at the time of passing. He was a life-long resident of Ashtabula and was a 1943 graduate of Ashtabula High School. Mr. Lambros served in the U.S. Army as a combat infantryman in North Africa and Italy during World War II. A service will be held 11AM Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. Burial will be in Edgewood Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post #103. Calling hours will be Ducro Funeral Home from 4-7 PM Thursday, January 24 and Friday, January 25 from 10-11 AM. An honor guard will be posted by the Ashtabula Police Department during calling hours. The Ashtabula Elks will conduct their memorial service at 7PM on Thursday. Contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter #39, 5613 Madison Ave., Ashtabula, Ohio 44004.
