Alex Lebedev

Alex Lebedev, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at the age of 45. He is survived by his parents, Emma and Michael Lebedev; brother, Sergey Lebedev; and fiancé, Rita Lyakhovetskaya.
Throughout his life, Alex made significant strides in any challenge or endeavor he wanted to accomplish. He was a visionary entrepreneur, an astute businessman, a loving son, a caring brother, the most wonderful friend to many, and an absolute free spirit.
Alex lived by his own rules, taking as much as he could from what life had to offer and ultimately achieving great success in anything he put his mind to. He was not only a professional skier, but had an immense passion for traveling the world and sailing his boats.
We will all hold various memories close to our hearts, but he will always be remembered for his vibrant personality, infectious enthusiasm, and genuine heart. He had an exceptional ability to bring people together, fostering a sense of unity and friendship wherever he went. His charisma and warmth made him a beloved figure among his family, friends, and everyone he held deep in his heart.
Although Alex's departure leaves a deep void in our hearts, his legacy will endure through the memories he created and the lives he touched.
A phrase he often used before going off on one of his travels was "this isn't a goodbye, only a see you later". So, Alex, this isn't a goodbye, this is only a see you later.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Sunday, March 17th, 2024, at 2:30 pm. Interment Har Sinai Cemetery. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Ariel Jewish Center and Synagogue.
