Alex Lichtenberg Obituary
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in the Belair Road Chapel of Platt's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Business Casual Attire.
Alex was born in New York, but spent most of his life in the Augusta area. He was a graduate of Augusta Christian High School. He earned an Associates of Applied Science at Trident Technical School and then went on to get his Bachelor of Arts in Business at Newberry College. He was a member of Theta Chi fraternity, and an avid fan of video games and anime.
In addition to his parents, Richard and Peggy, he is survived by his brothers, Craig, Corey and Mark Lichtenberg, his sisters, Jennifer Alvarez (Alex) and Ashley Lichtenberg, his nephews, Aidan Alvarez, Jordan and Noah Lichtenberg, his best friends, Will and Leland Evans, and close family friends, Christopher Wise and Chris Williamson. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Lichtenberg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness at www.nami.org.
