Alex James Potier

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, June 9, 2008 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Alex James Potier, 52, who passed away on Friday, June 6, 2008 at his residence. Reverend Darren Eldridge, Pastor of St. Edmond Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service. Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park. Mr. Potier, a native of Lafayette and a resident of Duson, was the son of the late Felix Joe Potier and the former Eleanor Savoie both of St. Martinville. Survivors include one son, Jonathon Chad Potier of Denham Springs; three grandchildren; three sisters; and six brothers. His parents preceded him in death. The family requests that visiting hours be observed on Monday from 8:00 am until the time of service. Pallbearers will be Tony Potier, Lee Potier, Lance Potier, Dean Potier, Clyde Potier, Jr., and Chad Potier. Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, is in charge of all funeral arrangements.
