Alexander Nicholas Iannuzzi, 16, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, gentleness, and unforgettable joy. Born on April 27, 2009, to Anastasiya Lagun and Nicholas Iannuzzi, Alex was a vibrant soul whose presence lit up every room. He had a deep love for water and could often be found swimming-his favorite place to be. Whether diving in or floating peacefully, the water was his sanctuary. Alex was an amazing kid, known for a gentleness that touched everyone who knew him. He had a joyful spirit and a love for food, especially sweets, which always brought a smile to his face. His father taught him to box with precision and to play the drums, skills he embraced with enthusiasm and pride. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Iryna Lagun, his great grandparents, Nicholas and Mary Iannuzzi and George and Maria Athas. His aunt, Lisa Marie Iannuzzi. He is survived by his loving mother, Anastasiya Lagun (Christopher); devoted father, Nicholas Iannuzzi (Tammy); and his brother, Liam Craven. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Ivan Lagun, Deborah and Anthony Iannuzzi; uncles, Christopher, James, and Anthony Iannuzzi; aunts, Tetiana and Kristinia Lagun; special aunts Anna Gobel and Ludmila Todosiichuk; several cousins; and many other relatives who adored him deeply. Alex's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His kindness and gentle nature will never be forgotten. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Grace Memorial Garden Funeral Home at 1 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2 PM.
