Alexander W. Jensen of Cherry Hill, NJ, died August 26, 2021. Age 81. Beloved husband of Genevieve (née Girini) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Loving father of Debbie Blake (Tim) of Deptford, NJ; Wayne Jensen (Mary Ellen) of Haddon Heights, NJ; Michele Jensen Lugiano of Deptford, NJ; Donna Troost (Tom) of Medford, NJ; Dr. Michael Venazio (Shawn) of Vero Beach, FL. and Joseph Venazio (Tanya) of Myrtle Beach, SC. Devoted grandfather of Nicole McGlinn, Megan Jensen, John Jensen, Garrett Lugiano, Mia Lugiano, Matthew Troost, Casey Troost, Nicole Troost (Austin Spencer), Christopher Troost, Joseph Venazio, Michael Venazio, Ryan Venazio, Christopher Venazio and Ella Venazio. Devoted great grandfather of Alyvia Gipson, Joe Walters, John Joseph Jensen, Jr., Kylie Shae Jensen, Jaxon Troost and Brooks Troost. Dear brother of Joe Jensen (the late Leigh) of Scottsdale, AZ; and the late Gerry Areni (Charles) of Vero Beach, FL. Alex was a dedicated sports fan, and loved the Eagles! In his younger years, he liked playing pool and was known to travel around South Jersey to catch a good game. When not watching sports, he most enjoyed golf and spending time with family. Viewing Tuesday 10am to 10:45am in Christ Our Light Church, 402 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Mass of Christian Burial 11am. Entombment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. My condolences to the family on Al's passing. I played baseball in the mid 70s at Haddon Heights High School and Brooklawn American Legion. Al attended many of our games and we struck up a friendship that lasted through my playing career. Al was a good man and a positive person. I remember many of our conversations. May he rest in peace.
