Running into Alex and Rachel and the rest of the Krokus family was always a highlight on our tours up and down the East Coast with Angel Hair and The VSS. Those are memories I treasure very much. The bands and our hangers-on were always greeted like family and treated like old friends from day one. Alex's smile beaming from across the room at the Unitarian Church is something indelible to my memory of ever being there at all. His presence helped make those nights unforgettable. Although I haven't seen him in many years, Rachel has always done a great job of keeping me up to date with his life and family. I will miss him, our conversations, and the looking forward to our inevitable crossing of paths. He was one of the great ones. Much love and deepest condolences to Alex's family and everybody he touched.
