Alexander Sheffield Obituary
He was born on April 26, 1937, in Houston to Ida Pearl (Spates) and Alexander "Sandy" Sheffield, Jr.
He married Garnet Harsey on July 21, 1984, in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Garnet Sheffield of Utopia TX.; daughter Katherine Herring and husband, Ocie of League City TX; son, Michael Kevin Sheffield of Houston; stepdaughter, Tina Marie Owens and husband, Darrell of Sheldon, TX; six grandchildren, Derek Tift and wife, Jessica, Erin Smith, Kory Owens, Kyle Owens, Emily Strahan Fitch and husband, Layton and Creed Fitch; three great-grandchildren, Isla Tift, Everly Tift, and Jennings Fitch.
Sandy was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael C. Sheffield; and our boy, Glenn Strahan.
A memorial service will be January 21, 2023 at Utopia United Methodist Church. at 11 o'clock.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Utopia EMS and Utopia Volunteer Fire Department.
