Alexander Brett Stevens

Alex was always so kind. The first time we met was at a venue, The Core, in Columbus, GA as teenagers. The hardcore kids started swinging, and an elbow landed on my face - knocking me to the ground. Alex helped me up and out of the mosh pit, then sat with me until he knew I was ok. Over a decade later in Austin, TX, we had a weekly ritual drinking red wine and watching The Walking Dead - trying to identify people we knew in the show from Georgia.
Alex was very loved, and will be sorely missed.

I have many fond memories from high school as Alex was one of the kind friends who accepted me for the quirky teen I was, so sad to see this- may his memory forever be a blessing
