Alexis Buckels Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bi-State Cremation & Funeral Service - Florissant on Dec. 4, 2025.
A Message from Lexi… I am Alexis Danielle Elaina Buckels. I was born on December 28th in 1994 to my loving Mommy, Cherrel, and my devoted Father, Testa. My brothers, Tommy, Dale, and Clayton, and my sister, Khayli, mean the world to me. And my nephew, Messiah, is the apple of my eye. My Grandma Laine is my secret keeper and one of my biggest cheerleaders.
As a little girl, I always loved rescuing stray animals, which led to my passion to want to be a veterinarian when I grew up. I also love kids and will jump at the chance to babysit. I think children like to be around me because I am still a silly kid at heart. Mommy, you tried to make me a pink girl, but my favorite color is blue. That's ok though because whenever I call you Mommy and ask for a song you always sing to me. Oh, and Daddy, let's not forget about the family trip to Disney World; you and my bonus mom, Rica, showed me a magical time. I'm pretty sure my siblings and I got our sense of humor from you.
Time flies when you're having fun and life gets to life-ing. I want my legacy to be one of kindness, bright smiles, and sweet hugs. So, whenever you cross paths with a young woman who reminds you of me, take the time to ask, "How are you?" And remember my legacy and give them a listening ear, a bright smile, and a sweet hug. Always, always remember, I was HERE. With all my love , Lexi
Alexis Danielle Elaina Buckels was born on December 28, 1994, in St. Louis, Missouri, to her devoted parents, Cherrel Durisseau and Testa Buckels. Alexis professed her love for Christ at an early age, and she was committed to being kind to everyone just like her Lord and Savior. She received her formative education in Atlanta, Georgia and St. Louis, Missouri public schools. After high school graduation, she held various jobs in customer service.
