Alfred Ray Barksdale was born October 4, 1943, in Danville, Va., son of the late William T. and Minnie Hughes Barksdale. He departed this life on May 12, 2025, at Our Lady's Center, Pleasantville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, 829 Tilton Road, Pleasantville, where friends may call from 9 a.m. Interment in Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, at 10 a.m., on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
