Alfred Lewis Bines

Alfred Lewis Bines, 83 years, of Port Deposit, MD, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the Autumn Lake Healthcare at Calvert Manor of Rising Sun, MD. Born November 29, 1941 in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of the late Walter G. and Lila Burlin Bines Smith.
Alfred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Perryville. He was the former owner of B and B Electric and retired from Aberdeen Proving Ground as a Test Director.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Peggy Spencer Bines. His son Stacy W. Bines, his wife Valerie. And daughter Terri L. Bines Horn and her husband Brian. Also his grandchildren Clay Bines and his wife Delaney, Megan Bines and her fiancé Kyle Huth, and Caleb Horn. And 2 great grandchildren Jace and Emory.
In addition to his parents, Alfred was preceded in death by his brother, Walter B. Bines.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2025, 10 AM, at the First Baptist Church of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025, 3 PM until 5 PM, at the church. Pastor Sam Brindley of the First Baptist Church of Perryville will officiate. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Port Deposit, MD.
