Alfred Gerrard Brantley was born on December 2, 1968 in Alston, GA to the Late John Ellis and Margaret Clarice Brantley. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at his home.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Ellis Brantley, his mother, Margaret Brantley, one brother, Gary Lee Brantley and one sister, Francis Mae Brantley.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his long time companion, Beneva Carswell of Lumber City, GA; his children, Krissi Brantley of Dallas, Texas and Alex Brantley of Counce, Tennessee; four sisters; Sherry Brantley of Alston, GA, Shelver Jean Brantley of Vidalia, GA, Debra Brantley Melvin (James), and Patricia Jones of Savannah, GA; one brother, John Edward Brantley of Alston, GA; Nieces, Kima Brantley Ford of Atlanta, GA, Kiara Jones of Jacksonville, FL, Alicia Brantley of Ailey, GA; special niece, Chauner Jones; one nephew, Montreal Brantley, one uncle, Ralph (Athena) Brantley of Vidalia, GA; Aunts, Kate Laney of Lyons, GA, Ruth Peeples of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Lola Wooten of Uvalda, GA, Angeline Brantley of Gainesville, FL, and Carol Bratley of Fort Lauderdale, FL; special Cousins, Michael Brantley, Johnnie Whigham, Arthur Grubbs, Terry Grubbs and Jack Baker; special friends, Glenn Jordan and Terry Mincey and a host of cousins and friends.
