Alfred Douglas Farrell, 70, of Edison, N.J., transitioned from his earthly life to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012. Mr. Farrell served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War on a three-year tour. He worked the trenches as an artillery man. Preceded in death by his mother, Ora Lee Young, and eldest daughter, Alfreda McCosta, Mr. Farrell is survived by his former wife, Gertrude Tyler; children, Darryl McKnight, Tami Dalger, Tyreese McAllister and Al-Tariq Fuller; siblings, Mary Frances Butts and James Thompson, and sons-in-law, Min. Billy Dalger and Anthony McAllister. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, other relatives and friends. This Online Memorial has been created to commemorate the life of Alfred Douglas Farrell.
