Alfred Joseph Gault Jr., 87, of Upper Darby, PA passed away on November 25, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alfred Joseph and Concetta Gault (nee Basta). He is a veteran of the US Army and fought in the Korean War. Alfred was an employee of the Sun Ship Yard where he worked in the Warehouse. He enjoyed hunting, reading books in the library, and football. He loved amusement park rides with his family. Alfred was the beloved husband of Evelyn Gault (nee Caputi); loving father of Barbara (Mario) and Deborah (Richie) ; and dear grandfather of Rachel, Nicole, and Dean . He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his dear brothers Jim Gault and Jack Gault. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Thursday, November 30, 2017, 9:00-10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

I was so sad to hear of your dads passing Barb.
Last time I saw him he was in the library reading.....he did love the library! Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Al was a sweet gentle man. He was funny with a wonderful dry sense of humor. He was the best of the best and will be missed by all of those who had the honor of knowing him.
