He leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Bessie Slaughter Howard of the home; five daughters: Kimberly Howard, Angela Reid (Danny), Lisa Howard, and Tina Lawton, all of Virginia Beach, VA, and Felita Holloman of Scottsdale, AZ; five sons; Gerald Howard (Cathy) of VA Beach, VA, Alfred White, Mark White (Ashley) Nichalos Whiter all of Norfolk, VA and Phillip Howard of Scottsdale, AZ; one daughter in law, Betty Howard of VA Beach, VA; one sister, Barbara Roberts (Hurbert) of Norfolk, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
