MAHOMET - "Tom" Alfred Thomas Johnson, 74, of Mahomet died at 3:04 p.m. Thursday (April 24, 2025) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
Memorial services will be held May 10. Walker Funeral Services and Chapel, 704 N. Fourth St., Champaign, is handling arrangements.

My thoughts and prayers to the family.
Alfred T, was like a brother to me. My neighbor during childhood. Probably at our house more than his own. Seen him almost 3 years ago just before my brother passed. I called him and he came. I was suppose to keep in touch with him and do lunch and time just got away. I didn´t know he was even sick. I would have been there for you. Rest in peace my brother, love you, and you will be missed.
