Mr. Kaussen was born February 12, 1966 in Germany to the late Helmut Kaussen and Johanna Herta Waurich Kaussen. He was a farm worker with Gillis Brothers Fertilizer for many years and he was of the Lutheran Faith.
Mr. Kaussen leaves behind his loving wife of 24 years, Martha Ward Kaussen; a daughter, Sasiken Kaussen of Eschweiler, Germany; a son, Nickolas Kaussen of Switzerland; a grandchild of Eschweiler, Germany; his mother, Johanna Herta Waurich Kaussen; a sister, Lydia Kaussen of Aachen, Germany; a brother, Rynard Kaussen of Germany; and his work family at Gillis Brothers Fertilizer.
Memorialization will be by cremation and no services are scheduled at this time.

Mr. Kaussen's arrangements have been entrusted to the kind and compassionate staff of Ricketson Funeral Home of Douglas, Georgia.
