Brian & Kristi Kates
October 19, 2025
Al came into my life through my second mother, and from the start, I could see what a kind and genuine man he was. He had a quiet strength about him - steady, thoughtful, and always quick with a smile or a joke to lighten the moment.
I might not have been his son, but Al never made me feel like anything less than family. He welcomed me, and my family, with open arms and an open heart. That meant more than words can say.
The pictures below were taken on my 50th birthday cruise - a trip filled with laughter, stories, and memories I´ll carry with me for the rest of my life. That´s how I´ll always remember him - smiling, enjoying life, and surrounded by those who loved him.
He will be deeply missed, often thought about, and never forgotten.
Until we meet again, sir.
