Mr. Alfred "Al" Morasso Jr.

Uncle Al (as we have always called him) was one of the nicest men we have ever known. We always found him kind, warm-hearted, fun and a wonderful friend to our parents, Marshall and Doris.
We enjoyed all the times we were with him and Aunt Betty. In the earlier years, we were invited to stay in their Newport home and we enjoyed every minute of it. They were so gracious.
It was so easy to talk to him about everything. He always had a way of making you feel important and at home. He will truly be missed by the entire Dean Family and we will never forget his infectious laugh!

Dad,
Not only do I love that you were my Dad but mostly you are “ Daddy “ to me even at 61years old and always will be.

Dad,
I still feel you around me telling me just how much you love me and family. Angels came to take you to a magical place on June 16th with all the love and soul of family surrounding you. Moments may be temporary but memories last forever. Love you forever . Thanks for being “Daddy” no matter what age I am.

You were a man who made a difference, an adventurer, a teacher, the perfect "cookie monster " to your loving grandchildren. So many memories ! You are missed! Until we meet again.

The entire worldwide membership of The Circumnavigators Club is saddened by the loss of our past International President; the son of a past International President; and a dear friend to all. His wisdom and leadership qualities and warm demeanor was a guiding light to our 119 year old organization. Our sympathies and thoughts are with our dear Betty and the entire Morasso Family.

Uncle Al became my second Dad when his brother Everett (my Dad) passed. I always felt so connected to this kind and Gentle Man. Thank you for being in our lives. Say Hi to Dad

Dear Uncle Al was, as has been said, a man of considerable integrity, intelligence, and service to others. He will be missed, but the legacy lives on.

A distinct man of honor and integrity... kind, decisive and proud loyal mariner... family first with a love of lighthouses and the sea... fair winds and following seas Commander, we have the watch....
