PETTY, Mr. Alfred "Petty" - age 81, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at McLaren Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Family hour 10:30AM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 58527 Delanie Street, New Haven, MI 48048, with funeral commencing immediately at 11:00AM. Past Dana Darby, Officiating. Reverend John J. Mack, Jr., Eulogist. Interment Centennial Cemetery, 30705 Clark Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 10:30AM at the church Saturday. Mr. Petty will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed between the hours of 12:00PM - 6:00PM Friday, with the family present from 5:00PM - 6:00PM.

Mr. Petty leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Martha Petty; children, Kimberly Locke, Lesli (Matthew) Lee and David Reaves; grandchildren, Desmond Locke, Darius Locke, Kalisa Lee and Donovan Reaves; siblings, Mary (Stanley) Gay and Nathaniel (Dorothy) Petty; special nephew, Ta'Von Burbank; special goddaughter, Pamela Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Petty was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Dorothy Petty; and brother Eugene Petty.
