Alfred Sloniker

Alfred E. Sloniker Jr. "Butch" age 75, of Clovis, NM, passed away on July 12, 2025, in his home in Clovis. Cremation will take place, and the celebration of life is to be held at a later date.

Alfred was born on March 23, 1950, to Alfred E. Sloniker Sr. and Emma Mae Ogden Sloniker. He married Linda Diane Thompson on June 25, 1983, in Rhinebeck, NY. They then came to Clovis, NM and he became a painter for Clovis Schools. Alfred Jr was a member of Prince St. Baptist Church. He loved hunting, fishing, golf, putting around the house, working, and doing yardwork.

Survivors include his Wife; L. Diane Sloniker, six children; Kelly of Poughkeepsie, NY, Jason of Wappingers Falls, NY, Catherine (CJ) of Clovis, NM, Chase (Alexandria) of Clovis, NM, John (Christine) of Roswell, NM, Christopher (Annalyssa) of Hobbs, NM, Kandra of Clovis, NM, and sister; Donna of Hyde Park, NY, two brothers; Ernie (Darice) of Hyde Park, NY, Eddie of FL; Brothers in law; Stanley Vansteenburgh of Hyde Park, NY, Frank Munz of Hudson, NY, , Robert Thompson of Auburn, Al, Roger Thompson of Clovis, NM, Wally Thompson of Reno, NV, Emilio Thompson of Warrior, Al. 16 nieces and nephews; 17 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Alfred is preceded in death by his mother; Emma Sloniker, father; Alfred Sloniker Sr, and two sisters; Shirley Vansteenburgh and Debbie Munz.
