Obituary For Alfredo "Fred" G. Bayot

Alfredo, 88, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend often referred to as "Papa Freddie" passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Manila Philippines on Sept. 1, 1937, Fred met and later married the love of his life Felicitas Zapanta Bayot. They started a family and raised 5 loving kids. He started and ran a successful printing business in Manila and later moved to the United States.

Fred starting a new life in the United States was later joined by his family. In the United States they moved to the Bay Area and later took up residence in Newark, CA. His wife Felicitas preceded him in 1993 and his son Ariel in February 2025. He worked at medical device companies, ACS and Guidant for more than 30 years. He was also very religious and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He loved fishing, working out, and spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his four children, sons Aljun Bayot and Alex Bayot, daughters Anabelle Duenas and Aurora McFerran, and their spouses. Grandchildren Mikee Duenas, Bianca Duenas, Angela Asilo, Brian Bayot, Alecsandra Bayot, Tiffany Bayot, Leonexie Bayot, and Gerald McFerran. He is also survived by his brother Tony Bayot and family. His compassion and faith is never ending and will continue to guide us. In every memory, we keep a piece of you alive, forever etched in our hearts.
