On April 15, 2022, Alice Mae Bell, went to be with home with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family.
Alice who was the daughter of the late Sam and Velma (Parish) Mann, was born on May 14, 1953. Alice had two children, whom she loved and cherished, Sherita Mann, and son Parnell " Paco" who precedes her in death.
Alice graduated high school and took on careers as an advocatefor children. She was employed at Webster Cantrell Hall, servicing children, youth, and families in troubled circumstances. She was a foster mother for many years caring for hundreds of children.
Alice had a sense of humor and enjoyed collecting pigs. She loved to be around her family and friends, she will be dearly missed!
Alice leaves to cherish memories, her husband, Jerry Bell; only daughter, Sherita Mann; siblings, Robert (Clematene) Manns, Lester (Helen) Manns both of Decatur, Sam Ethel (Arthur) Perkins of Decatur, Georgia (John) Thomas of Omaha, NE, Larice Manns of Decatur, Lavonia Hamlin of Chicago; additional siblings, Michael (Tiffany) Jarrett, Ricky White, Ezette White Banks, Anthony "Red" White. She also leaves her grandchildren, Bran'D Phipps, Tyler Mann, and Kingston Mann, as well a host of other special relatives and friends.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, son, Pernell Mann, grandson, Brandon Mann, siblings, James Arthur (Nannie) Lee and Willie "Bill" Manns, Sam Manns Jr., Linda, Larry Manns, James Lewis Lee, Lula Mae Shaw.
