Alice Bender Obituary
Alice was born on January 7, 1935, to Martin and Eva Heavilin. She lived a long and meaningful life devoted to her family and faith.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Bender, who passed away on January 1, 2010.
Alice leaves behind her five children: Sam (Bonnie) of Athens, Georgia; Jerry (Brenda) of Wichita Falls, Texas; Linda (Lin) of Panama City Beach, Florida, with whom she resided; Nancy Lewis (Robert) of Florence, Alabama; and Robert (Sandy) of Orrville, Ohio. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Sunshine Bender Lane, Chris Bender, and Jolene Bender; and two great-grandchildren, Ari Lane and Kimahri Lane.
Alice was a faithful member of Gulf Beach Baptist Church in Panama City Beach and was part of the Sunshine Sunday School Class, where she enjoyed fellowship and friendship with her church family.
In accordance with her wishes, no service will be held. The family respectfully asks that no flowers or donations be sent.
