Alice Bernthal Obituary
Alice and Dick enjoyed a rich and active life together. They resided in Illinois and after building their dream log home they retired in Holland, Michigan. They shared a love for various outdoor activities, including playing tennis, cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, and sailing their sailboat on Lake Michigan. Their Malamutes were constant companions, and together they volunteered at the Holland hospital and VA.
Alice was also a talented and passionate crafter, known for her knitting, spinning, weaving, and various crafts. She poured her heart into her creations and found great joy in her hobbies. Alice was involved in her church, Fellowship Reformed church of Holland, Michigan.
Salem Funeral Home in Winston Salem, NC is assisting the family at this time. Online condolences may be made at www.salemfh.com.
