Alice Marie Bilyeu, age 79, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Oak Point Assisted Living, in Monett, Missouri. She was born November 27, 1945, in Sacramento, California, the daughter of Fred and Josie (Persinger) Davis.
Alice worked for Little Tykes in Aurora and retired from the First Independent Bank, in Aurora, Missouri.
On July 13, 1966, she married Johnny Bilyeu in Forsyth, Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2006.
Alice is survived by one son, Terry Bilyeu (Jenaya Cornelison) of Aurora, Missouri; one daughter, Melissa Bilyeu Sumners and her husband, Pete; two grandchildren, Tyler Bilyeu (Aileen Chavarria) and Tessa Bilyeu (Jordon White); two great-granddaughters, Lanna White and Maelyn White of Aurora, Missouri; her bestest friend, Alma Chappell of Aurora, Missouri; brothers and sisters, Wanda Young, Ida Martin, Joyce Tate (Olen), Jim Davis (Charlene), Ada Lewis, Norma Terry, Jr Davis (Beth) and Tony Davis (Beth Ward); two sisters-in-law, June Davis and Carol Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Bilyeu and daughter, Clara Jane Bilyeu; her parents, Fred, and Josie Davis; her brothers, Lonnie and George Davis and several brothers-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora with burial to follow at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora.
