Alice Fay Block

Alice Fay (Muncy) Block, 60, of Marrowbone, Kermit, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2026. Alice was born on August 5, 1965, in Mingo County, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Dan Muncy.

Alice is survived by her loving mother, Jennetie Muncy; her devoted husband, Arnold Block; two sisters, Crystal (John Runyon) Muncy of Kermit, WV, and Betty (Harold) Dingess of Inez, KY; one brother, Vess (Paula) Muncy of Louisa, KY; one half-brother, Travis Muncy; and four half-sisters, Lisa Muncy, Stephanie Darnell, Holly Kinser, and Tina Jude. She is also survived by two nieces, Angel Maynard and Melissa Stroud; two nephews, Matt Muncy and Casey Runyon; three great-nieces; five great-nephews; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The most important decision Alice ever made was accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior. Her faith was the foundation of her life. Our loss is Heaven's gain.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Jenny's Creek Baptist Church in Kermit, WV, with Joe Maynard officiating. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday from 6:00-9:00pm with special services at 7:00 pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
