Ms Buck was my teacher, mentor and encourager. She praised and corrected with a true love for her students. There were NONE better at teaching - about subject matter and life. She was definitely God's gift to her students.
I truly counted her as a dear friend as I entered adulthood and often called her to reminisce about our Lakeview days and to discuss our families.
While time had taken it toll on her body, her mind remained sharp and her dry humor as prickly as ever. God took her home and I am looking forward to that day when I will again see her smiling face!

Mrs. Buck was more than my art teacher, she changed my whole world and influenced me to become the person I am today. She brought me out of the darkness and into the light. Mrs. Buck was an amazing person with a heart full of love.
