ALICE CADWALADER Obituary
AUBURNDALE, Fla. — Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Cadwalader, age 93, a resident of Auburndale, Fla., passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Cadwalader was born Nov. 17 1927, in Dover, N.J. She was a retired post office clerk, member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Winter Haven and a volunteer for the Ft. Meade VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was an Auburndale resident since the 1990s, coming from Pennsylvania. Alice enjoyed gardening, sewing and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter F. Cadwalader; and sister, June.
Alice is survived by her loving family; eight sons, Walter (Lynn) Cadwalader, Richard Cadwalader, Donald (Sharon) Cadwalader, Bill (Suzanne) Cadwalader, Chuck Cadwalader, Kenny (Marjorie) Cadwalader, Lincoln (Valerie) Cadwalader and Kevin (Darla) Cadwalader; 15 grandchildren, Heather, Kathy, Walter Jr., Richard Jr., Katie, Donnie Lee, Alyssa, Kristian, Jennifer, Nicole, Brandy, Natasha, Allen, Loranne and Blake; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, April 2, at Kersey Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at 2 p.m.
